VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM

The TSP Vocational Training Program was established in 2020. Over £1000 was allocated towards this project in order to help survivors acquire the training and qualifications needed to become financially independent.

We facilitated the training of a number of survivors in fields such as digital management, catering, hairstyling, makeup and technology. As many sexual violence cases are domestic, helping survivors reach a point of financial independence has been essential in preventing further abuse.

The Survivor Project aims to expand our vocational training program in the coming years. This will include reaching a larger number of survivors and training them in a bigger variety of occupations creating a supportive network of financially independent survivors. This will involve many collaborations to ensure we can offer the training needed.
